    Farmers have told a Senate committee into supermarket pricing that food security could be jeopardised if aggressive pricing by large companies forces producers off the land.

    Senators investigating the pricing practices of major retailers heard evidence from growers in Orange, located in the central west of NSW, on Tuesday.
