US ports get $30b anti-China upgrade in warning to Australia

Washington | The Biden administration will invest more than $20 billion ($30 billion) in new infrastructure and cybersecurity at US ports amid concerns Chinese-built equipment is risking national security.
Experts said Australia and other countries that have experienced cyberattacks on their ports should also bolster their equipment and impose new standards and rules, including requiring port operators to report cyber incidents.
